<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
This parameter defines the mainscan shift adjustment added to the away broadsheet plate to
make it line up with the home side. The height difference between pins 1 and 3 (numbered starting from
the home side) should be nominally 0 microns for older machines, and 200 microns for machines
with the toe-in style registration pins. This parameter indicates the error from the nominal value.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
This parameter is calibrated during factory integration and normally should not change after this.
Adjustments should be made with advice from factory integrators.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
When setting this parameter, a broadsheet plate should be imaged on both the home side and the away side.
This can be done with a slight subscan shift between the two for ease of measurement. After processing, the
cross-hair at the leading-edge / home corner should be checked. If the away side is lower than the home
side, this parameter should be increased by the height difference. If the away side is higher, this
parameter should be decreased by the difference.

<Notes>
<DescriptionText><text>
The firmware does compensate for the angle of the plate by increasing/decreasing the mainscan shift based
on the rotation and the distance from the home-side pin to the edge of the plate. If the rotation value is
incorrect, the mainscan shift may also be incorrect. Changing this parameter may fix the problem, but will
only fix it for one plate size.

<DescriptionText><text>
All other gc shifts are defined in mils. This shift is defined in microns because it is measured
with a microscope, and most microscopes provide a metric scale.
